Introductie

The Dream Group is a two years' experiment to verify how the regular sharing and analysing of the dreams in the group would impact the process of dreaming of its partecipants . Would it be richer than that made in the individual psychotherapy ? And would it affect in significant way the waking life of its partecipants ?

Materiaal en methodes

The different methods of interpreting the dreams - Freud’s classic analysis, Carl Gustav Jung methods, the dreaming body of Arnold Mindell, Calvin Hall's method, Boss’s phenomenology , neo-jungists ( James Hillman) ,the psychodrama, the gestalt and modern researchers of dreams (MOntague Ullman, Gayle Delaney, Bonnie Buckner).

Resultaten

The rapid increase of openess, connectedness and cooperation in the group, More dreams , better remembering of the dreams . A launch of an individual psychic process (much more rapidly than in individual therapy) . Acquisition of different perspectives of understanding the dreams and their meanings. .The increase of consiousness of the partecipants.The faster resolving of the internal conflicts. The rapid changes in waking lives introduced by the partecipants and supported by the group.

Conclusie

Dream Group is a very effective and fast method for personal growth .
