Abstract

 

Autism Spectrum Disorders are complex neurological disorders that have a lifelong effect on the development of various abilities and skills. Helping students to achieve to their highest potential requires both an understanding of ASD and its characteristics, and the elements of successful program planning required to address them. However, there are some effective teaching strategies that suitable for students with ASD to improve their communication and social skills needed to fulfil the basic requirements of daily activities. On the ground, the purpose of this finding is to focus on effective teaching practices for students with autism spectrum disorders as well as intended to serve as a guideline for teachers who are working with students with ASD.

 

Teachers and educational staff in schools face the challenge of planning and implementing effective education programs for all students, including students with autism. By planning to incorporate differentiation strategies such as visual aids, program planning, and structured teaching strategies, a teacher can help to set up a student with autism for success in the classroom socially, behaviourally, and academically. In a well planned and welcoming classroom environment that focuses on building the strengths of the student.
